The McCain /Palin signs and bumper stickers will be available on Wednesday evening, 4pm- 8 PM.

Also, Mike Teets will be in Morgantown on Tuesday for an interview with the Dominion post and other activities to be announced.

There will be a fund raiser for Dan Greear at the Waterfront Place Hotel on September 30 from 6 to 8:30 PM.

October 19 is a meet the candidate function at headquarters. This is sponsored by MCREC. Time will be 1 to 4 PM. Hope to see you there!

We invite you to familiarize yourself with the MCREC HQ, out daily hours will be posted as soon as we have firmed them up.

Meeting: August 20 2008

Our monthly meeting was a the Best Western, on August 20th at 7pm.

We had several visitors: two from the WVU's College Republicans who talked about events they are planning for the year, including several debates with various candidates and inviting speakers. A rep from the McCain campaign attended and let us know about various volunteering opportunities coming up.

We are also working on getting Poll Workers for the November Elections.

We discussed local events, such as the Mason Dixon Festival and the Taylor County Hogroast.

We are planning several Voter Registration drives.

A POW/MIA event will be happening at the County Courthouse on September 19th from 12pm to 8pm.

Our next meeting is Scheduled for September 10th at 7pm at the Best Western in Star City.
